I love how you can make it different with just a few colour changes!

Now I have a question for you ladies! I need your help with some nail art! I have a new dress and it’s a bit of a big deal because it’s an actual nursing dress (which are so hard to come by and pricey here!) This is the pattern:

Hope to hear from you all soon! Xo

The colours are gorgeous and my nails are much shinier than the picture shows. Thank you Santa!

What do you think? Did you have any polish from Father Christmas?

Feeling Festive!

Hello you lovely bunch! I haven’t blogged in forever! But I have been watching you all! I have been very inspired by all the Christmas nail art that I have seen, so painted a little mix and match festive nail art today. And guess what?! It didn’t make me feel sick yippee! Hopeful that I can paint my nails a little more from now on!

Anyway, here is my first festive nail design.
Candy Cane Toes

20131222-174107.jpg
I love my little candy cane toes! I used Barry M white for the base and Barry M red glitter for the stripes. I used some washi tape for my big stripes and stripping tape for my smaller ones.

My second festive nail design is
Mix & Match Festive Fingers!

I couldn’t choose 1 design, so I chose 5! I have a Santa thumb, Christmas tree finger, reindeer finger, snowman finger and a pudding pinky! I free handed all the designs here.

Almond Mani

Hi girlies, for the first time in WEEKS, I finally felt like painting my nails! Weeks of naked nails made me sad but the smell today really made me feel ill :(

I decided to file my nails into an almond shape because I fancied a change. I saw someone with a Halloween pumpkin mani on almond nails and thought the shape was so different!

I just painted my nails a simple red with glitter today.

Cling Film Pedi

I stumbled across a new blog today and was immediately inspired to try out a new nail technique. Kelly, over at Getting Girly with Konad, did a white and pink “Saran Wrap” mani. Now after a little research I found that “Saran Wrap” is cling film here in the UK! I was in love with the white/pink colour combo so decided to stick with that for this pedi. So I painted my base, two coats of Barry M white and Seche. Then I waited a good 20 minutes for it all to dry. Then I painted Opi Pink Flamenco and quickly used my cling film to dab off the polish. Then I painted a light glitter topper and Seche to complete my pedi.

I love how simple this is and how it looks different on every nail depending on how hard/how many times you press the cling film down. It would be easy to make an old mani look new again by using this technique over dry polish. It looks sort of like I could graffiti on my nails now, such a super easy nail art technique. What do you think?

Hello lovelies!

Hello my lovely followers, old and new! I have had a fabulous break from school, which involved very little nail polish! My blog has been unnaturally quiet over the last few weeks as I have been on holiday and spending lots of time with my family. But I am back now to post about my nail obsession!

Also saw this, which I think is at true reflection on some of my fellow bloggers as well as myself ;)

Oh mon dieu its the rather awesome 31 day challenge -Day 25 Inspired by a Movie

Hi girlies and welcome to my final day 25 entry for the Oh mon dieu its the rather awesome 31 day challenge! I decided to only do a few of these challenge days because I am so busy at the moment, I am currently on holiday and will be until the 23rd August so I am sorry that I’m not posting much!

I decided to try out watermelon nails for this day and was inspired by the

“I carried a watermelon!” line from Dirty Dancing.

20130805-153815.jpg
I used an Avon polish called Watermelon and my lime Barry M polish. Then I used my darker Barry M green and my Barry M pens for the details. What do you think?

Oh mon dieu its the rather awesome 31 day challenge -Day 16 Half Moon

Hi girlies and welcome to my day 16
entry for the Oh mon dieu its the rather awesome 31 day challenge! Today I went with an Avon polish and created a half moon mani. This is the same colour that I used for stripes day – I am loving it at the moment!

I free handed the half moons and they turned out okay, but it’s not one of my favourite manis – I feel like it needed a little something extra.
