Hi girlies and welcome to my day 7 entry for the Oh mon dieu its the rather awesome 31 day challenge! Today I went with my silver holo polish and green bedazzled glitter.
Hi you lovely lot, I was trying to be very good and not buy any more polishes when I came across the Revlon Moon Candy range. It has a base colour at one end and a glitter topper at the other. Well I just had to try it out! I opted for Orbit, which is a deep purple with a blue/purple glitter.
For this mani I started out with two coats of Maybelline silver and a coat of holographic silver. Then I carefully painted my ruffian with the base colour. Then I added the glitter topper mainly on the tips of my nails.
What do you think? I love the glitter, it’s more like flakes than glitter. Flakes of moon candy!
Hi beauties! It’s day 17 in Julie’s 30 day nail challenge and the theme is 3D.
I ordered some studs off eBay, both gold and silver in this size and small caviar balls. I chose to use these for my 3D mani as there is a day on caviar. I chose Barry M lilac because it is a favourite of mine, and my feature nail is my FGL prism holo polish. I placed the studs on with tweezers onto tacky clear varnish-much the same way I apply my glequins. Then top coated with 2 coats.
I am useless at keeping up with the links page since I’ve been back at school-hope you can forgive me!
Hi all and welcome to Julie’s 30 day nail challenge and today the theme is ruffian.
I then used glequins on my index and ring finger in blue too-they are hard to see in the pictures but were really sparkly. I love this mani, it looks glamorous and for my first ruffian, I am proud I got the lines straight yay!
I really wanted to try out my new tape so I painted my nails with my smoky plumes Avon polish and my ring finger pink with a holographic top coat.
Then I did a criss-cross on my holo nail and painted smoky plumes over it and carefully peeled the tape off to reveal the holo underneath.
I found it quite simple to do but that’s because I only did the one nail! It takes a while to cut the tape and stick it in the correct places. I think you need lots of patience for this, but I really like the effect and there are so many things you could do!
Hi everyone, I have three new polishes! Two of them were bargains; I was shopping in a local supermarket and noticed there were some Rimmel polishes that were half price. One was similar to the Opi colour I’d set my heart on, but for a fraction of the price, called ‘desire’ and the other was a 60 second polish called ‘grey matter’.
The third polish is from Filthy Gorgeous London, a brand that I have never tried before. It is a holographic polish that I am very excited to try!
I was trying to be good and not buy anymore but it is a very big weakness of mine!
